BackgroundAlive 09 is a Christian Mini-Festival taking place over the late Spring Bank Holiday Weekend Saturday 23rd – Monday 25th May 2009. It will be based at St John’s Church Woodbridge, a growing charismatic evangelical Anglican Church with a strong bible based ministry. Building on the success of Alive 08, Dave and Karen Gardner will be hosting the weekend which offers a strong emphasis on Word and Spirit relevant to East Anglia and smaller church settings of all denominations. Both seasoned and first-time Christian festival-goers, of all ages, will find something to inspire and deepen their discipleship. Once more we will explore being Alive to God through contemporary worship, Alive with each other through relevant teaching and how to be Alive in the world in mission within our communities. The Festival will run from 10am – 9pm each day and include daily Bible teaching with worship, seminars during the morning and afternoon followed by an Evening Celebration with speaker. A youth and children’s programme will also be available with a special area for under 3’s and their parents in a café venue with a live link facility from the main venue. On Sunday morning you can choose between 9am, 10.45am or 11am services or attend your local church, rejoining the festival later. Woodbridge lies 8 miles east of Ipswich on the A12. Travel daily from home or stay the weekend in this beautiful part of Suffolk.
