Facilities
The Festival will be based in St John’s Church with a live link to an adjacent marquee, Café Connect. The marquee will also be home to a parent-supervised area for under 3’s. Other seminars and events will be in nearby churches and buildings in the town.
Food and refreshments will be available from within the Church and Café Connect. In addition, delegates can visit the many local cafés or picnic areas in the town.
There will also be a café and bookshop called “Oasis at the Octagon” in the nearby Methodist Church.
Conveniently located for most of East Anglia, Woodbridge lies 8 miles east of Ipswich on A12. Most people will be able to travel in for the day, although accommodation, caravanning and camping facilities are available in this beautiful part of Suffolk. We will encourage delegates not only to experience elements of Alive 09 but also find time to relax and use the local facilities, as we are situated very near the town centre.
